Here’s a simplified step-by-step guide to help you get the most out of your Kolinsky brush: 

1. Prepare the Brush Before First Use 

Before using the brush for the first time, swirl the dry bristles gently in clean monomer to remove any factory residue. Pat it dry using a lint-free cloth and shape the bristles back into form. 

2. Prime the Brush with Monomer 

Dip the brush into clean monomer. Press lightly against the edge of the dish to remove any excess liquid. The brush should be moist but not dripping wet—this helps ensure clean, controlled acrylic pickup. 

3. Pick Up the Acrylic Bead 

Gently dip the brush tip into acrylic powder and let a smooth, round bead form at the tip. Avoid dragging or stirring to maintain bead consistency and avoid air bubbles. 

4. Apply and Sculpt the Acrylic
